Mercy Olson

Mercy Olson is an active teacher and collaborator in NW Ohio and SE Michigan. She is an instructor with the Toledo Symphony School of Music and maintained a private piano studio prior to joining their faculty. While earning her Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from Ohio University, she was a graduate assistant group piano instructor and also taught with the Athens Community Music School. Mercy was one of the first teachers with the University of Toledo Community Music Program where she taught group and private lessons to adults and children while studying her Bachelors in Piano Performance. Her various collaborative experiences include being a resident artist with the Toledo Opera for their 2021-2022 season, pianist for the Ohio University Opera Theater for the 2020-2021 academic year, and performing on various Steinway Galas at the University of Toledo. Mercy is currently the pianist for the Clarence Smith Community Chorus and the Agora Chorale.
