Hi ~ My name is Annie Carlson, & I teach flute, piano and voice online & in person in Washington state. A few years ago I “discovered” Piano Safari, and it has changed my piano teaching philosophy immensely. I love how it has three different approaches (rote, improv & reading) which is similar to how humans learn spoken languages: experience/listen, read, then write. I use the Forte Music Studio platform for teaching online lessons. I wear many musical hats, as many musicians do ~ teacher, accompanist, coach, choir director.
