Born and brought up in Yorkshire, Pippa left school at 16 to work in the caring profession. She gained a BSC Hons in Nursing in 1998 and has had an exciting career for over 3 decades, working as a Registered Nurse.

Pippa has always enjoyed performing and been awarded first place at the Mrs Sunderland and Haydyn Wood Music Festivals. During her teenage years she revelled in the limelight of several musical leading roles, including The Wizard of Oz where she played Dorothy.

After becoming Mum to 2 boys she rediscovered her joy of playing the piano. Studying hard under the guidance of Natatile Lateu-Robinson and Amanda Vasco; she achieved grade 6 with merit in her mid forties. Around this time serendipity resulted in her teaching piano. Not only does she have a natural aptitude for teaching, inspiring and encouraging others, she is fascinated by and has a real passion for musical pedagogy.

After struggling for many years to fit the demands of nursing hours around family commitments she has decided to follow her dream and launch her own piano teaching business. Pippa now studies with the much acclaimed Musician Joanna Garcia, taking piano lessons and coaching sessions. She is working towards a musical teaching diploma. Pippa is an active member of The Curious Piano Teachers and the Independent Society of Musicians. She believes in fun, developing musicianship and empowering people to discover the immense joy rewards of learning to play the piano. Pippa is based in Buckinghamshire where she is developing her PP Piano Lessons, striving to deliver the very best piano lesson experience.
