TEACHER BIO
I have loved music my entire life and enjoy sharing my passion with my students. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education with piano as my instrument of study from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. I then taught middle school choir, show choir, and general music for two years, married Kell and moved to Frankfurt, Germany with the him as he served in the Air Force. In Frankfurt, I continued to study piano with Roswitha Langguth, a renown and beloved teacher at the Clara Schuman school of Music. She was in the teaching lineage of Beethoven, a child prodigy during WWII era, and her legacy brought music history to life for me. After our time in Frankfurt, we moved to Arkansas where I continued to study piano, theory and composition at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I have been teaching piano for more than 35 years. I have also played in churches and with special groups. My passion is inspiring all students to develop the ability to play the piano and a love for music accomplishing a fluency with piano and experiencing the joy that goes along with it.
