Over the years, Susan has worn many hats as a musician, including piano teacher, classroom music teacher, accompanist/collaborative musician, and children’s chorus conductor. She currently lives in the Galena, Illinois area, where she has a successful independent piano studio, teaching students of all ages and levels of proficiency. She is also in demand as an accompanist and as a recreational music class teacher for adult students.
Susan has her Master’s degree in piano pedagogy and is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music. She has served as Treasurer and Certification chair for the Illinois State Music Teachers Association.
